Hello and welcome to the personal site of Seth Price.
This is the personal web site of Seth Price. Seth is currently living in Utah, where he is attending graduate school at the USU. I'm constantly involved in a number of activities, but it's hard to get a full grasp of them from this simple web site.
Below are some links for you to follow to get a general understanding of who I am and what I do.
Seth's web sites / work:
- New Media Centers: Assisting faculty and staff of the university incorporate multimedia into their labs and classes.
- BotIT - Botany instructional resources: A botany class resouce and a collection of about 4,000 botanical images. It was originally a set of sub-directories of image files. I wrote a set of scripts to organize it and make it look good. I also moved it from expensive hosting to a spare lab machine, which did a better job anyway.
- River Discharge Database: A graphical interface to view historical data on river discharge.
- Agricultural Database: A database of agricultural data.
- IAM Database: Miscellaneous global environment data. I inherited it, but ended up rewriting the code from scratch.
- Atlas of the Biosphere: I inherited this from someone else. I cleaned it up and fixed many security flaws.
- Julian Chandler Photography: A site that I put together for my father's photography business / hobby.
- Soil Carbon Database: Another small database front end.
- UnearthedOutdoors.net: What I hope will be the best reference on the web for all things outdoors. It is a user-driven site, where people can upload images, reviews, and other information on campgrounds/parks/trails/etc.
